About Aviato

We’re building a platform to give financial firms of all sizes the tools they need to make data-backed investment decisions. Aviato has a plethora of data points on tens of millions of companies, along with the teams behind them.

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning systems in a well-capitalized and growing startup. You will work closely with our CTO and other engineers to apply machine learning solutions to technical and product-based applications.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong ML experience, using tools like PyTorch and HuggingFace
• Can design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines such as recommendation algorithms and semantic search engines
• Will own the machine learning roadmap. This includes regular communication with the CTO in order to evaluate priorities and discuss what’s next
• Can build models around a ton of data
• Eager to apply cutting edge machine learning technology as you see fit
• Thrives in a small team environment with low bureaucracy and lots of freedom

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in quant or venture capital would be helpful
• Worked at a large data engine/aggregator prior
